Day 57: Oops I forgot to tell you…

I cannot believe I forgot to mention that yesterday was officially 8 weeks on the inside.  I’ve been sitting in the same place for 2 months.  That is absolutely nuts.  Never in a million years did I think I could do this.  What is even more nuts is that I have another month to go before I’m done.  I’m still not sure I can handle that, but it looks like I’m going to have to!  This whole crocheting thing really is keeping me entertained though.

I’ve been crocheting like crazy, thanks to you fine folks and your custom requests.  One of the nurses here watches triplets and asked that I make some non matching but similar hats for the 3 girls and I have had a few custom orders from the Etsy store that I have been working on.  Take a look at the hats below.  If you click the link it will take you to the Etsy posting with the exception of the triplet hats.  The aviator hat is my favorite special request yet!  I love a good challenge.

This morning’s non stress test went well.  I had a nursing student in who had to ask me a million questions to write a report.  I realized how much I have learned being in here.  She would ask my nurse questions and I could actually answer them.  All except for why not to poke a pregnant belly too hard…ruptured or not.  Side note–favorite nurse’s last day is today, big boo.  But she let me sleep in today which was awesome.  She did say that she signed a part time contract and will be back mid March to work a weekend.  I think I’ll still be here to see her!

  1. We find out on March 22nd what we are having! Can’t wait to put in a request for one of those adorable hats! See you tomorrow? XOXO

    • Ooo! I will be exactly 36 weeks on the 22nd. We will BOTH have good news that day. 🙂

  2. Loving your hats! Great job! The aviator one is really cute. I bet you would sell a lot if you started making matching booties with some of them, too.
